Blog
A weblog (usually shortened to blog, but occasionally spelled web log) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles.
 
Content Management System (CMS)
A content management system (CMS) is a document centric collaborative application for managing documents and other content. A CMS is often a web application and is used as a method of managing web sites and web content.
 
Conversion rate
The relationship between visitors to a web site and actions considered to be a conversion, such as a sale or request to receive more information. This metric is often expressed as a percentage.
 
Domain Name
A domain name is the text name corresponding to the numeric IP address of a computer on the Internet. A domain name must be unique. Internet users access your website using your domain name.
 
Ecard
An ecard is an html email typically generated and sent from a web site, primarily used to market a web site.

page rank is a family of algorithms for assigning numerical weightings to hyper linked documents (or web pages) indexed by a search engine. The page rank system is used by the popular search engine Google to help determine a page's relevance or importance.

A reservation management system (RMS) is a database application. It is typically a web application and is used as a method of managing online bookings and reservations.
 
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Search engine optimisation (SEO) is a set of methodologies aimed at improving the visibility of a website in search engine listings. The term also refers to an industry of consultants that carry out optimisation projects on behalf of client sites.
 
Search Phrase (SP)
A search phrase (SP) is the entire search string entered into a search engine by a user. It can include one or more keywords.
 
Server
A computer, program or process which responds to requests for information from a client. On the internet, all web pages are held on servers.
 
Streamed Data
Any data transmission that occurs in a continuous flow. Streaming audio and video files allow you to display or play the beginning before all the data has been transferred.
 
Syndicated Content
Content that is generated or provided on a website from another source and which is updated automatically Uptime
Uptime is a measure of the time a computer system has been up and running. It came into use to describe the opposite of downtime, times when a system was non-operational.
 
Virtual Reality (VR)
Virtual reality is derived from Apple Inc's QTVR (Quicktime virtual reality) 360° engine.
 
Virtual Tour
Any method used to provide internet users with a graphical presentation of a property or properties.
 
Web Widget
A web widget is a graphical interface component that can be installed and executed within any separate HTML-based web page by an end user without requiring additional compilation. They are akin to plugins or extensions in desktop applications.
